Well... Oops

I did warn you that procrastination was my superpower... 

This blog for me was supposed to be my procrastination fix. This is what I would do when I wanted to procrastinate, not something else to add to the list of things to avoid. Yet when life decides it wants to smack you in the balls exercise goes to the absolute bottom of my list of things that you want to do. 

Don't get me wrong, I have lost weight in that time. However, not due to committing to an exercise and diet regime and actually trying. In December last year I was hit with a virus that caused me to throw up on a regular basis. Because of that, I was lucky if I could keep meals down throughout the day, resulting in my stomach shrinking, most days going by where I either didn't eat out of fear of throwing up, or eating and then spending time with my head in the toilet - not a great thing to happen when you're trying to serve customers at work. The combination of trying to complete a degree, Christmas in retail and illness rendered my energy levels completely and utterly depleted. 

Returning to the present, after nearly a year I am finally cured, my degree is over and with work being tolerable at the moment since it's not quite time for the craziness that is Christmas, I thought now would be a good time to get back into the swing of things and actually utilise this blog for what it was intended for. Hopefully a repeat of last year won't happen again and I can actually get some results. Take two, let's go....
